Though he's been featured in The Excellent 80's many times, it's always been as part of the supergroup Journey. Never have I featured any of Steve Perry's solo hits during the 80's until today. Ok, so Perry never had a lot of solo hits, but today's feature did rise up the charts all the way to #3 back in 1984, and yeah, I had the 45 single of it. Still love this song.
