Today's R&B singer from Nassau, Bahammas will forever be remembered as the man that "Just Got Paid." That song is enough in my book to put you into Friday night jams legendary status. Unfortunately, that's really all Johnny Kemp will be remembered for from the 80's, but he did have one other top 40 hit. It climbed all the way up to #36 and was from the soundtrack of the motion picture "Sing" (which I never saw and don't remember at all). But I do remember this song.
