That Sweet Little Boy Who Caught My Eye

Ahh, music videos in their infancy.  So simple.  So easy.  This video from 1980 probably took about an hour to shoot.  No change of costumes and very little scenery change for the Pointer Sisters.  The video may be very basic, but when you have a trio like the Pointer Sisters you really don't need much because their charisma carries the video.  Here is their top 10 hit from 1980 - "He's So Shy"...

Look What You're Doin' To Me

Anytime I can find a great song and combine that with a performance on "Soul Train," that's just a win-win for me and for you, the viewer. I love me some "Soul Train," and I love me a lip-syncing trio wearing prom dresses straight out of the 80's! Featuring Ruth Pointer's deep vocals, here is one of my favorite Pointer Sisters songs performed on "Soul Train" - "Automatic"...

Your Eyes Tell Me How You Love Me

With some video of guys jumping at various track meets, the Pointer Sisters are back with one of their biggest hits from the 80's. So as not to be confused with Van Halen's "Jump" released earlier in the year, the Pointer Sisters changed their track title to "Jump For My Love"...
