The moral of this video is never ever get in a plane if Rick James and Smokey Robinson are your pilots.  Of course you won't have to worry too much since Rick James passed away years ago, but it could still happen with Smokey around!  This short film music video that runs just over seven minutes was a collaboration between the two and produced a #1 R&B hit.  I don't ever recall watching this video though, but the "rescue" makes total sense once you watch it.  Here is "Ebony Eyes"...

Today's video from 1981 is so boring that the seagull shot might be the best shot in the whole video.  Maybe.  There is the scene where Smokey puts on his sunglasses that is also high energy.  From 1981, Smokey Robinson reached #2 on the Billboard Charts with today's song.  The one thing that worried me toward the end of the video was that I was very concerned about him messing up his cool shoes in the sand as he walked the beach.  No Smokey!  Don't walk into the water with those on!  Your lady is waiting for you back up in the house!  Here is the first time Smokey Robinson has been featured in The Excellent 80's with "Being With You"...
