Yes, the Rhythm the Rebel

The mid to late 80's is really when the rap genre came into the scene and started to explode as thousands of middle class white kids like myself bought up the tapes and later cds at record pace. In 1987, an active, political hip hop group called Public Enemy burst on the scene with an album titled "Yo! Bum Rush the Show." The next year saw the release of "It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back" which featured this single. Performed on "Yo! MTV Raps!" here is Chuck D, Flavor Flav, Terminator X, and Professor Grif with "Rebel Without a Pause"...
