It was a late night jamming with Van Halen and Kool and the Gang at the BOK Center in Tulsa last night, so hopefully tomorrow I'll have a review with some pictures and or video of the concert.
For today though, The Excellent 80's travels down under for a rock band from the outback. I always thought today's video had a U2 kind of flair about it, and after some research on the never-wrong wiki page I learned that the song is a political song about giving native Australian lands back to the Pintupi, who were among the very last people to come in from the desert. I also enjoy lead singer Peter Garrett's awkward dance moves in this video. It's hard to believe Garrett is nearly 60 years old now. Here is the Aussie group Midnight Oil with "Beds Are Burning"...
