I Was Tired of My Lady. We'd Been Together Too Long

There's just so much to love about today's live version of a 1980 hit by an unknown named Rupert Holmes. Whether it's Rupert's beard, the over-exuberant guitar player, or the bass player with the sweet white man's afro, it's hard not to keep watching regardless of how corny the song is. Released in late 1979, it was the last number one hit of the 70's and the second #1 hit of 1980 (KC and the Sunshine Band interrupted Rupert for a week at the beginning of 1980). Check out Rupert Holmes with a song about starting an affair only to find out that affair you were starting ends up being with your wife... that's just weird... here is "Escape (The Pina Colada Song)"...
