It's one of my all-time favorite hair-metal ballads coming in today at #40 on The Excellent 80's Top 80 countdown. Long before "Rock of Love" and his appearance (and win) on "The Celebrity Apprentice", Bret Michaels, C.C. Deville, Rikki Rocket, and Bobby Dall were pushing the hair-metal envelope with their colorful behavior and hit records. This power ballad may not have been a favorite of C.C.'s and maybe it led to other hair-metal bands doing the same thing as the hair-metal bands slowly died out during the last of the 80's and early 90's, but it still remains a classic and a favorite of mine.
