80's Movie Weekend - Feel the Krush

Thought this would be a fitting movie flashback since we are in a "LL Cool January" featuring the best of LL Cool J... from 1985, this is the movie based upon the early days of Def Jam recordings and the up and coming producer extraordinnaire, Russell Simmons... it is "Krush Groove"...

from "Krush Groove" here is LL and he can't live without his radio...

All You Can Eat by the Fat Boys... gonna stuff my face to a funky beat!

here are the Beastie Boys making an appearance with "She's On It"...

this song wasn't on the soundtrack, but was a big hit for Sheila E.... here is Run-DMC "discovering" Sheila E. as she performs "A Love Bizarre" with Prince on backing vocals...

probably the biggest hit from the Krush Groove Soundtrack included this pop hit from the doo wop group from New York known as The Force M.D.'s and "Tender Love"...
