My favorite white person/black person combo in the 80's was, no, not Michael Jackson himself. It wasn't the Jackson / Paul McCartney combo or even the Stevie Wonder / Paul McCartney combo. It happens to be a dorky white guy named Phil and a cool English brother named Philip, and it happened in 1985 with a song that went all the way to #1 in the UK and #2 in the U.S. The crazy thing is the dorky white guy named Phil has had the wildly successful career, while the cool brother named Philip has been hard to find through the years.
