In memory of, Let's Get Wild, Wild, Wild
Quiet Riot lead singer Kevin Dubrow was found dead at his home on Sunday. In memory of him, here is the biggest hit from his group Quiet Riot - a cover of the Slade song from 1973 and re-released in 1983, it's Cum On Feel The Noize...

She's My Cover Girl
I basically forgot all about this New Kids on the Block song, but it actually peaked at #2 in October of 1989. So, check out these white boys and all the screaming 7 year olds in the audience. It's "Cover Girl"...

To The Hoop, Ya'll
Basketball season is upon us, and I always have to pump this jam from the early 80'ss. One of my earliest favorite rap songs - Kurtis Blow rapping "Basketball." I like Magic, Bird, and Bernard King...
The Kurtis Blow hit, ‘Basketball’ is arguably, the most famous song about the sport in existence and it still timeless and popular today. He still works a crowd 20+ years later with that same hit according to various postings on youtube.com. 'Basketball' is heard at dozens of NBA games during half time each season and it was the theme music for ‘Like Mike’ a major studio film starring Lil Bow Wow released in 2002.

Everyone's Favorite Dan Hartman Song
Was anyone else confused due to this video for a long time like me? I mean, you know that Dan Hartman is white don't you? If not, you're sitting there right now shaking your head. Check out Dan Hartman's website in the links to the right for proof. In the meantime, here is "I Can Dream About You."
Ahh, the New Kids Slow it Down
Grab your baby and sway to the high melodic voice of Jordan Knight on lead vocals and check out the New Kids banging a basketball off a wall somewhere just up to no good... I'll be loving your forever...

I'm Gonna Always Love You, Girl
Little Joey before he grew up and went solo and then went on Dancing with the Stars... I'm also waiting on the t-shirt and vest look to come back in as well as the rat tail that that one non-talented New Kid sports in the video... and remember, please don't go, girl...

Yo MTV raps!

First appearing on MTV in August of 1988, Dr. Dre and Ed Lover co-hosted this masterpiece of television. The very first video ever shown was "Follow the Leader" by Eric B. & Rakim. Since I couldn't embed that video in here (sony or universal sure spoils a lot of fun), I chose this classic Run-DMC video since they co-hosted the very first show with Dre and Ed... Rock Box...

Eye of the Tiger
From Rocky III, it's the Survivor anthem that can be played anywhere at anytime. This video still cracks me up as I'm watching those five guys strutting down the sidewalk.
